Ah... I understand what you're sayin now.

And you know, you're right. The specs do favor PC's. Which are twice as expensive.

And I don't know if it's just you, but my Halo's FPS only got a little shaky when there was ALOT going on. Which was maybe twice in the whole game.
You don't give the Box enough credit. Maybe it's your Xbox, but I've never had graphical glitches playing even Halo 2, which pushed Xbox to the limit.

And if you're trying to tell me you can buy a PC for $400 that can handle the games 360 has, you're insane. A graphic card that can handle Gears of War alone would cost $300. I've got an 11-hundred dollar PC that can't handle UT2004 at full settings. Small monitor, no special deals... That's like walking into Wal-Mart and buying thier bargain PC, and playing the highest end games.

Alright, EchoSex is right. He's been saying what i've been saying all along. You all have computers right? Obviously. Spend money on better graphics card. If you already have a good one. Good, sell it, make money, get a better one. Boom! X-Box 360 who? An upgraded computer is MUCH better then any console. Computer games can be tweeked and what not, you can play online with no hassle, nor paying monthly, maybe just for your broadband. The mouse and keyboard are great controls, at least to me. And overall, consoles are faulty. My PS2 broke down pretty fast, as did my friend's X-Box. The console will always have the same graphics, it can only go so far. The PC however will always be upgrading over the years. I'll stick with my PC. And by the way, for the morons out there calling eachother idiots, that just proves you yourselves are idiots for arguing over consoles.

No way.

An 11 hundred dollar PC that can't run UTG? You got ROBBED. My PC I made last year cost $950 and it plays DOOM 3 on full graphics in an 1280x1024 resolution with 63 frames. And believe me when I tell you - DOOM 3 has one of the hungriest engines I've seen yet - it eats up resources pretty horridly. Only thing next to it that I can say really demands a lot of power is Battlefield 2.

But can you play split screen Halo, or Madden with your friends on a PC? Consoles are more entertainment oriented. I can move it around with minimal hassle, have 3 friends over, and frag the night away. Can't do that stuff on a PC. They've both got pros and cons

Personally, I HATE split screen. It's so confusing no matter what TV you have. However if you have 2 computers, you can just do LAN which is really fun because your bud doesn't punch you in the arm everytime you kill him. Either that or tell him to get his arse some broadband and copy of the game(most PC games you can burn

Unless things have changed since I last knew, the only possible advantages the 360 has over a pc:
1) Direct hardware access
2) . . .errrr, ya ok. I got nothing for 2.

I have tried the xbox (not the 360, just the old one) and I find my pc more comfortable for doing things, including playing games. Since a pc can be upgraded with ease, I see no need to blow $300-$400 hard-earned dollars on something my computer does just fine.
